Thank you for being a part of the Psilocybin Assisted Therapy Association (PATA).
We are thrilled to announce after months of work to be releasing three new free resources to help promote the advancement of Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy (PAT). All are designed to help consumers, mental health therapists, and entheogenic practitioners understand how PAT can be used to help the community-at-large improve their mental health. They are:
1 - Our PATA Model describes how Licensed Mental Health Providers (LMHPs) and entheogenic practitioners can participate in consumers’ mental health goals using psilocybin. This model is based on the methods used in clinical trials and modified for practical use so consumers can attempt to reach the outcomes presented in formal studies. The model shows how LMHPs can be legally involved in consumers' PAT experience to achieve the best mental health outcomes, regardless of where they live.
2 - Our online PAT Self-Assessment Tool helps consumers determine who is best to be involved in their mental health goals by guiding them through questions while also providing introductory information and encouragement to learn more.
3 - The Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Guidebook for Consumers is a guide that provides details on the components of PAT and how LMHPs and entheogenic practitioners can play a role in a consumer’s mental health goals based on the consumer’s intent of psilocybin use. This resource is designed to be shared amongst a consumer's care team and for therapists to share with clients.
We are in the process of creating additional resources and welcome any suggestions on our current resources and any you feel may be of interest or need.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support PATA’s efforts in providing and creating free resources to the community-at-large. All of our resources and materials are currently funded exclusively by our Board of Directors, and our ability to continue to promote and create resources will rely on additional community support.
PATA is a volunteer-run organization and 100% of your donation will go to providing our services to the community.
Sincerely,
Jason M. Burdge, MNA, Founder and Chief Business Officer
Lisa M. Ritter, LPC, Founder and Chief Clinical Officer
